New Patients

Appointments

Please make an appointment in advance to ensure the most desirable time slot for your schedule. We typically suggest scheduling 6-8 appointments in advance so that you will receive the time slots that work best with your schedule and so that your treatment is not delayed because you couldn’t get an appointment.  We do not require payment in advance, but we have found that booking in advance helps ensure a smooth treatment schedule. In the case of inclement weather, office staff will contact you if the office will be closed and to reschedule your appointment.

We do not accept walk-in appointments.

 

Parking

Free, off-street parking is available in front of the building.

 

Missed Appointment Policies

If you need to change or cancel your appointment please do so with 24 hours notice. With the exception of emergencies, failure to do so will result in being charged the full fee for your appointment.

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. 24 hour notice is required to cancel an appointment. A 24 hour voicemail system is available and will record your message with a date and time stamp. Individuals who do not call to notify the clinic will be responsible for the full charge of the office visit.

Please arrive on time. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you cannot come on time, please call the office and check availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your circumstances, but we reserve the right to reschedule.

 

Payment and Insurance

Payment is due in full at the time of your visit. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Returned checks will incur a bank fee, due and payable immediately.

If your insurance covers acupuncture as a benefit, we are happy to provide you with the documentation you may need to submit for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company about your policy.  We are also able to provide information for Flexible Spending Account (FSA) reimbursement.

 

Fragrance and Cell Phone Use

Our office has many patients who have significant food and environmental allergies. In consideration of those people, please refrain from eating in the clinic and wearing perfume to the clinic.

Please keep your cell phones and pagers turned off or in silent mode while at the clinic for your and others’ comfort.
